Top 20 Christmas Movies of all Times
Fred Claus (2007)
this movie matched the christmas season where Santa's relatives, yes he has relatives, are making troubles during the Santa's time. See how Santa's relatives spend reunion with him.
Deck the Hall (2006)
i still can remember how this very funny movie was. a newly moved neighborhood was making a difference on how his house will be seen from outer space through christmas lights. a very relaxing movie that will surely catch up your breath.
Surviving Christmas (2004)
If you are a young millionaire and the only thing you lack is the pleasure to spend Christmas in your childhood house – it’s not a problem to arrange that even if the house is already occupied by another family. Pay that family for becoming yours! But will you want to cease being theirs after the Chrismas?
Love Actually (2003)
What a mix of several love-stories! It’s not realistic but all the same, it’s a pleasure to see one more Christmas fairy-tale. Christmas and love are indivisible here. Not all the stories end happily, but that doesn’t change the optimistic tune of the movie.
Bad Santa (2003)
What else can be said about Santa who smokes, drinks, uses bad language and even robs supermarkets? He is bad, indeed! But is he a no-hoper? Definitely, he’s not! And he can improve, because there’s nothing impossible on Christmas!
Elf (2003)
Nearly everyone knows the story of human child raised by wolves, but what is going to happen, if a human child is raised by elves? Having grown twice the size of other elves, he goes to New York to find his real father. And once in New York, he tries to bring the Christmas spirit back into the city. He succeeds!
8 femmes (8 women) (2002)
What can be better for a man that to spend Christmas in his countryside mansion together with eight women? Only being alive while doing it! There is nobody around besides them, so one of ladies is guilty. It’s really worth seeing the movie to know who!
Serendipity (2001)
A truly Christmas movie from the first frame to the last credit! Two irrationally-thinking young people - he and she - meet each other, fall in love and decide to part as they want to tempt fate. But the Fate is hard to be tempted, and even harder – to be deceived.
Die Hard 2 (2000)
Surely, Christmas is not the luckiest day of the year for the McClanes. This time Holly, John’s wife, is flying to New York in the plane that has to land in the airport with crazy military junta controlling the radars. However, this time bad guys chose bad place and bad time, as John McClane is always on duty.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
The modern tale for kids and grown-ups about what happens in Whoville, a town inside a snowflake. Everybody there loves Christmas except Grinch, an outcast who tries to steal the Christmas from the other people. Will he be able to do that?
Jingle All the Way (1996)
A father can do anything to get his kid the newest toy. Especially if this father is built as Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, the best gift for his son, he understands, is his father with him. A touchy Christmas comedy with happy end, a good viewing for any family.
Rent-a-Kid (1995)
One may rent a car, a home, even a lamp. Why not rent a kid? Just to see how he or she suits into… you know… family. However, it turns out not to be that easy as with furniture: a lot of trouble but even more happiness in the end.
Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
A little girl is told that there is no Santa. However, she meets one somehow. So, dreams may indeed come true… if one firmly believes they will. Being a remake of famous movies of 1947, this one is also heart-touching and funny Christmas mood-improver to be viewed by the whole family.
Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)
How can 10-year-old boy feel once in New York without his mammy, daddy, brothers and sisters? Extremely happy, of course! Everything would be nice, if ‘wet bandits’ were not there. Nice for bandits, I mean. They suffer even more than in Part I, because the boy has grown up and grown smarter. A bright and funny family movie. If only kids were not trying to imitate Kevin’s tricks afterwards…
Curly Sue (1991)
Kind and funny comedy showing that even being hit by a car can turn out well. Little orphan Curly Sue (Alisan Porter) and beggar Bill Dancer (James Belushi) make you smile, giggle, laugh and finally even cry of emotions while you follow the plot of this movie. Everything ends fine, by the way.
Home Alone (1990)
A wonderful Christmas story! Little Kevin is left home by the entire family, and has to cope with two burglars who try to explore McCallisters’ house in search of probably a treasure. They chose the wrong house, though. Kevin tries on them all those dirty tricks he would have probably done to his brothers and sisters who treated him as… you know how it is in big families. “Never have laughed like that before” is the most usual comment after seeing this movie.
Christmas Vacation (1989)
The Christmas mood comes into your place directly from the screen. This is a really affecting comedy about crazy family and permanent jesting troubles happening with its every member.
Die Hard (1988)
When an ex-wife invites her ex-husband to come to California for the Christmas, there is nothing bad about it. Terrorists attacking the office building and taking dozens of people hostage are what is. So, John McClane (Bruce Willis), a New York cop, has to work overtime during his vacation to deliver his wife to finally spend the Christmas with her.
Black Christmas (1974)
The un-Christmas movie. It is definitely not about happy children unwrapping their gifts and happy moms and dads watching them do it. It’s about a psycho killing young girls who gathered to celebrate Christmas… their last one, as it turns out. A gloom and macabre, although stylish thriller. Fits one all right, if that one hates Christmas or loves horror on the screen.
It’s a Wonderful Life (1943)
When one is tire of life on a Christmas Eve, the best way to talk him out of suicide is to show what the life could have been without him. Then he realizes that his life is truly a beautiful one. This Christmas comedy, like wine, becomes

Visiting UK
Top three one of the best places that i want to visit in UK are London, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Let me share first with the beautiful place called London. This place gives full history, heritage and culture and popularly known as the fast-moving cosmopolitan cities in the planet. Wimbledom, The West End, Greenwich and Notting Hill are one of the spots to experience. Night life is so alive and will kick your energy up to the high. Staying and searching to different hotels here is not a problem despite the high social end of the place, there are still a lot of cheap hotels.
Glasgow's famous art galleries and stylish shops gives interesting thoughts to me. I imagine how exciting will it be when seeing the uniqueness of the place. And always hoping to experience the International Jazz Festival and Celtic connections which they are known as the largest winter festival of celtic music. Hotels to stay here are not a problem, lots of cheap ones to choose from with less hassles.
Edinburgh will catch your eyes with regards to the different designs of their castles. I have been dreaming of seeing castles here, that inspired me to be creative. Museums and historic sites will also be seen in here.
With this plan that i have to come and visit UK made me want to push through the time. Cheaper than hotels have helped me budget my money within my limit and gives me discounts without any hassles of searching to hotels and places to live. Visit Britain for more beautiful sites to see in UK.

why are all this coming to me? when in fact, i was so prepared last year for any of this company. Now that im again jobless for almost three months, i got confused either im goin back or not into the corporate world. cause if i will, i will take this all opportunity and be prepared for any interviews, and if im not, then i should stop. looking for a job is not easy, it will take TIME, MONEY and EFFORT. i have so much TIME just to attend any interviews or any appointments cause obviously im not connected in any companies right now. MONEY---this is one problem cause if ill pursue ill be putting up a lot of money with this, im talking of the probable expenses like transportation, food and so on... EFFORT---it will be a waste of time cause honestly i stopped working for my review and for the paperworks to be done with me and husband, so im thinking if im goin to pursue with this application ill have, my effort will be useless.
why am i confused? cause i NEED to work, i dont have income as of this moment and its NOT SO ME. second, i need MONEy for myself and for my husband. though i dont questioned my husband's support to me cause he did everything to me and his a PERFECT one for me, never have i doubt with all the things he has done to me, his a perfect provider to his lovely wife and im proud of HIM by doin all this things to me. but wait! we all need money, time is wasted if im not workin and earn and just sit there doin nothin and not earning anything. its truely a waste of time. but what confuses me is the paperworks that we currently applying. my husband filed for an immigrant visa since last July '07 and we are still waiting for the positive outcome of it. they said it will take us 11 months from the time we filed, so thats goin to be June of next year. So, what am i goin to do with the six months from now of waiting? should i WORK? or should i just WAIT? argh! HELP ME for im confused......waaaaaaaa!

seLF deFense
I know they were not the only person involved in this plan, cause at that same time, the house on the other road was rubbed, nothing was left, i felt sorry for that to them. So,i know they will come back again & will do another plan just to get into our house or anyone's house in the place.
Self-Defense... im a woman but im not afraid to fight. I dont even had the experience to have a real gun, but i know how to handle it. I was afraid, yes i was! but if we will remain to fear on this bullshit people roaming around and play with us? that i wont let to happen, im gonna be as brave as hell!
Now, before i went off to bed, i made sure that everything are all at my side, contacts for designated person to call when emergency like this will come, a knife, a teargas, a boiling water, and a rosary to keep me and the rest of us here safe.
I dont know why they are doin this to us, but i will make it sure that everything will be safe! so be aware that the place we live in is not SAFE!... especially here in the crowded place called Manila.

Immigrant Couple Faces Deportation Over Marriage Status
"honesty is the best policy"
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Immigrants Pedro and Salvacion Servano have been model U.S. residents since arriving from the Philippines in the 1980s.
Pedro Servano, 54, is a prominent family doctor in an underserved area of central Pennsylvania. His wife, 51, runs a grocery store and bakery. Two kids have graduated from college, with two more in grade school.
But a change in their marital status during their visa application process more than two decades ago has come back to haunt them, and now they are facing possible deportation back to the Philippines.
The couple have been told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office the day after Thanksgiving for the start of deportation proceedings, agency spokesman Michael Gilhooly said Friday.
It's a process the Servanos desperately hope to avoid. Their attorney, Gregg Cotler, is devising a flurry of last-ditch legal and political appeals to allow them to remain home in Selinsgrove, about 100 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
"We love this country and this is our American dream to be here," Salvacion Servano said Friday in a telephone interview. "We've been here for 25 years. This is our home."
They married in the Philippines in 1980, and two years later, Salvacion Servano's visa was granted and she left the country. Pedro Servano followed in 1984 after getting his visa, and the couple moved to Philadelphia.
The Servanos applied for U.S. citizenship while living in San Diego in 1990, but an immigration official noticed during an interview that their visa application listed them as single. They were accused of lying and misrepresenting their marital status, and the deportation process began, Cotler said.
"I guess it's an honest mistake. It's not premeditated," Salvacion Servano said.
The Servanos went on with their normal lives as they filed appeals. They moved back to Philadelphia in 1992 before settling in Selinsgrove three years later. Dr. Servano works at Geisinger Medical Group in Selinsgrove, where he has about 2,000 patients.
Two of his four children graduated from Temple University, including a son in the Army ROTC program; another is in high school and a fourth in middle school.
Several years ago, the Servanos bought and rehabilitated two properties in the city of Sunbury, about a 10-minute drive from home. Salvacion recently opened a small grocery store there, selling Asian goods and baked items.
"They had an error on their visas when they first came here," said Terry Specht, Sunbury's city clerk, who frequents the store. "It's ridiculous to think they would lie about that."
But the appeals have been unsuccessful and appear to have run their course.
The Servanos switched attorneys and turned to Cotler after receiving notice earlier this month that they had to report to the immigration enforcement office.
"It was a surprise to us. After that, it was as if a ton of bricks had fallen on our family," Pedro Servano said.
Gilhooly declined to discuss the specifics of the case, citing standard ICE practice.
"They have had their due process through the U.S. immigration court system," he said. "They have exhausted their appeals."
Cotler hopes otherwise. His legal team is considering emergency appeals in court and directly to the U.S. Attorney General's office.
The family has lobbied for help from politicians. Friends scheduled a prayer vigil in Sunbury for Saturday night.
Letters of support to the government have poured in from local dignitaries, Servano's patients and even someone from the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees ICE.
"I fervently believe in the ICE mission. However, the Servanos did not sneak into this country illegally, they have broken no laws, and they have not been a burden to the economy. They pose no threat," DHS counterterrorism operative Bill Schweigart wrote in a letter obtained by The Daily Item of Sunbury. "I cannot fathom how deporting the Servanos fulfills any portion of the ICE mission. In fact, I would argue the action runs counter to it."
Cotler said the couple understands the government's position, but would simply like another chance to tell their story.
"You would not find two nicer people, two more unassuming people," Specht said. "It's a shame that these two are caught up in all this."

1. I was once a certified pasaway, lied to death just because of my love to a person who is not worth loving for. Which lead me to lost my Job and was misunderstood by most of my officemates (or shall i say, they didnt trust me anymore). Have learned a lot from it and now have moved on.
2. I eat a LOT, and was envied by my dear sister for not gaining weight. I was picky with foods during my younger years, but right now, i changed. I splurge money for foods in restos nearby places or those that i havent tried yet in Metro Manila.
3. I married to an Army man who is based in the US. Being an Army's wife is not easy, but i love the man who loves me more... We are far from each other right now, but being in this situation makes our relationship stronger.
4. Im a book lover, i quit reading for almost 5 years and now i got back into track.
5. Videogames makes me happy a lot... hehehehe..
6. I dont easily get mad, but when provoked, only time will tell. i dont like judgmental people, as i dont like to judge one.
7. I collect old coins... i got few from my ipo, from 1940's yehey!

another Day w/a Friend
On our second day, we had late lunch at Gumbo in SM The block, my first to dine there. Great experience, yummy foods with lots to choose from. And we went on watching One More Chance, one of the movies that i got teary-eyed all the time (kainis na pagmamahal talaga oh-oh).
And now, im back to my old times. Read books, spending longer times over the net, thinking all the time. Whew! again, help me resist with my loneliness.. hahay Life-Buhay!
p.s. i got one way ticket to Dumaguete on December for only 1500pesos.. im super Happy!

trinoma is the only place thats near at my place.. and ahem! sm north too din pala. hehehe. the only plan that i had was just to do the grocery but it seems that my HAIR was always making pansin to me all the time.. umiiral na naman ang kagagohan ng buhok ko, in fairness it looked like the witch's broom na rin kasi kaya it's making pansin to me. David's Salon is the only place that i thought of, (my first time here) and tsaadaannnggg.....
